No Interest Credit Cards

When we first heard of no interest credit cards, we were amazed and shocked. I`m telling you! Why would they offer that to anyone? It was like a free loan for months at a time. We got our new credit card, and at first tried to exercise some resistance to using it, but that didn`t last long, we starting using it for everything. We acted like little kids without any responsabilities taking vacations, eating out, buying new clothes, etc, etc, knowing in the back of our minds that we could pay it back later interest free.

We were so niave and young. After traveling all around the country, paying for our hotels and our extravegant dining with our no interest credit card for years, thinking we were on top of the world until our irresponsible spending caught up with us. Going to Broadway shows, the theatre in Chicago, and gambling in Las Vegas really played havoc on our new no interest credit cards. I am sure we are not alone, thousands of Americans are in the same credit card trouble we are finding our family in now.

Well we learned our lesson by living cleanly within our financial means. Now we stay at low-budget hotels, and spend much more responsibly. We still enjoy traveling but we do it much wiser now. We learned our lesson, we know we aren`t going to be young forever and that we need to be financially careful. Don`t end up washed up and broke, enjoy life while you are young but remember, that no interest credit card is not a free ride, it will have to be paid back in time!
